"The Occupy Wall Street presence...does something to all the rest of us and others who are self-cloistered...it's the people who hit the streets first that encourage, and provide the courage, to people who will come after them."

Ralph Nader

"Why New York’s Zuccotti Park is filled with people is no mystery. Reporters keep scratching their heads and asking: “Why are you here?” But it’s clear they are occupying Wall Street because Wall Street has occupied the country. And that’s why in public places across the country workaday Americans are standing up in solidarity. Did you see the sign a woman was carrying at a fraternal march in Iowa the other day? It read: “I can’t afford to buy a politician so I bought this sign.”"
Bill Moyers

The November 15, 2011, edition of  Tell Somebody starts out with a return visit by Richard Tripp: Kansas City cab driver, author and founder of Care of Poor People, Inc.  For years now, Richard Tripp and COPP Inc have been putting on events twice a year where homeless and others can come and get a free meal, free clothing, and listen to some great music.  The next event will be November 26th at 205 East 9th Street, Kansas City MO 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

After hearing from Richard Tripp, we get to listen to speeches by Public Citizen founder Ralph Nader and legendary journalist Bill Moyers given on October 20, 2011 at the Public Citizen 40th Anniversary Celebration in Washington, D.C.
